2 years ago I discovered how much I like WV riding. I had business in Louisville this week, and drove down 71 to get there. I drove home on 64 to 79, and it looks like eastern KY could be nice riding too. Are there nice state parks (like Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks), things to do (like Cass RR, Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum), and must-ride roads like in WV? I'd like to do some KY exploring. Been following Johnnypop's KY post, and just wanted to say, keep the suggestions comin', KY guys!

If you like serious rural state routes and highways, eastern Kentucky is all about those. Huge hills, state parks, state forest, coal country, old scenic farms...it's beautiful in that old-time Appalachia sense. I've done a bunch of the roads down that way and can recommend many.
Central Kentucky (the Bluegrass) is all about horse farms, estates, stone walls, old money, bourbon and some seriously upscale living. Gentle roads and fantastic scenery almost everywhere.
West Virginia is a literal playground for those who love extremely rural riding, intense curves, mountains, and few major towns. My wife and I have been on about every major road in the state and a lot of the state routes. One road to look for is the Highland Scenic Highway. It's a loop road and takes you to high elevations through major scenic forested mountain areas (no homes to mention) and will give you that 'thousand miles from nowhere' feeling.
In Letcher County KY, the former coal mining town of Seco has a winery in the restored company store, also has some coal camp houses for overnight stays. Interesting area for life during coal mining times.
