Default Deals Gap in June.

My son and I are committed now, I made reservations at The Two Wheel Inn in Robbinsville for June 11th, 12th, and 13th. We're leaving Indy on Sunday the 10th, and riding to London, KY. Spend the night there and ride the rest of the way Monday morning. Heading home Thursday the 14th, and arrive back home on Friday the 15th.

Going to be an experience especially for my son. He just bought his first bike last June and this will be his first long distance ride. I haven't ridden any long distances since the early 80's when a bunch of us rode to West Virginia to go white water rafting, and when me and a buddy rode to Mammoth Cave right before I got married. Hope my 61 year old **** is up to it...

By the time you get there the roads will have you ready for the Dragon. Not riding it on the weekend is a plus.......

Don't worry about that, we have no plans on burning the Dragon up. It's just a chance for us to ride together, and enjoy the trip and time together. 'Ol dad ain't getting any younger...

Definitely will post up pics when we get back.

Condition yourself with several long days in the saddle prior to your trip. I have done it a few times from Wisconsin riding a Road King then on my Limited. The fairing on the Limited was a real blessing for the longer ride.

2 wheel in is a nice place...if you go east you can get to Wayah road, take it to Franklin then take 28 “the moonshiners highway” to fontana then hit the dragon...

We'll hit the Dragon on the way to Robbinsville on Monday. Tuesday we plan on hitting some of the other routes in the area, and maybe do the Dragon again. Gotta at least buy a shirt...

We're going to kind of play it by ear day to day, and cram in as many miles in the area we can.

Praying for a safe trip AND good weather!
