It depends if I have been drinking.

If I have been drinking then it is depends under my pants since I leak a lot with beer. Dark beer is what I like.

the solo when ym, solo when solo when I want a red cup with beer in it but I do not like red cups with solo beer in it

I like a cold mug. Or not bottle bcs I like TAP beer more.

There.................what is why solo is not good as broup riding. No.............solo is better riding. Wait.....................

Stop.

I prefer solo riding. But not solo beer. No...........

I prefer solo riding. <-- That is right.

I prefer drinking in groups. I am sure. Rarely do tho.

The question is too confusing the OP needs to rewarod the questions so it makes more sense to habe it ansewred.

I ride solo one up on long trips // I do have one true friend that I ride with now and then on shorter trips we have know each other and rode together for years on short week end trips
when on a long trip if I run up on another rider or a small group of 3 or 4 I will tag along if going the same way but I hang back do not try to join in while riding
I have been in the rear hanging back like this and seen a lot of stupid things from others when this happens I just pull over take a break and let them go there way
I am also of the opinion that when on a trip I like to set my pace stop and look at what I want eat what and where I want so I think it is better for me to just do it on my own but more that happy to take the time to bs with other when we meet up on the road

Large groups of riders tend to ride too slow for conditions. I don't know if it's the "look at me" factor or what, but it seems to be prevalent.
I try to stay with groups of no more than 8 bikes. (Altho, I have been in organized group rides of 5000+) What a mess that is.
For me, 3 other riders is optimal. Don't mind solo either though.

I like to ride alone to clear my head ,but I prefer to ride in groups ,the voices in my head need to be silenced by other people .

I’ve tried the group thing and while it’s real nice to have folks along to BS with at the end of the day, I find it generally too annoying. I did have one good friend who passed away a couple of years ago who was like riding with my own shadow,we both had the same style and knew what each other was gonna do. There’s also a woman in my HOG group I really like to ride with. Other than those 2, it seems like you’re always waiting on someone, or chasing someone. I guess Its just my nature, but I prefer riding alone.

Both, Group rides depend on the reason and environment. Charity events are great , party stuff no so much The drinking and pot side of it does nothing for us.. Wife and I do enjoy both short and longer trips alone.

Solo 99% of the time. Go when and where I want, stop where I want, can go as fast or slow as I want.

I’ll do the occasional group ride, but I don’t have any good friends local who ride and I don’t enjoy riding with strangers. So it’s solo for me, and I’m happy with that.

This weekend reinforced my preference for no group rides with strangers. I attended Road Runner magazine's Touring Weekend with my wife [2-up]. Because of traffic, we missed Thursday registration and all group rides were filled for Friday. So we did a self-guided tour. At dinner Friday night, we sat with several riders who had done guided tours earlier. One couple mentioned that their group leader rode too fast, and as a consequence a rider crashed her vintage BMW, knocking herself out cold and suffering a concussion. Another couple coincidentally group-rode the route my wife and I choose for Friday. I commented that I'd be concerned in some of the hairpin/ascending turns that if someone in front suddenly stopped, anyone fallowing would inevitably go over. The husband mentioned that is exactly what almost happened to him - the rider in front of him slowed so dramatically, that it forced him to swing wide into the oncoming lane to go around the front bike. Despite my wife's initial desire to do a group ride on Saturday, she suggested we do another self-guided tour, to which I wholeheartedly agreed.
