Anyone ever ride into Mexico.

 

Not on purpose. No,have no desire to ride into mexico.Too much cartel stuff going on,but I do have a friend that rode through there and is now in south america(he can speak spanish).He called me a month ago and was heading through Columbia.He's quite the adventurer.

 

Just a couple of weeks ago. Baja, not the main part of the country. No problems, but it was a rally so there were a few hundred of us on bikes.

 

Once to eat the Mezcal worm... ...... at least I think it was the worm..

 

Not in the last 20 some years.

 

Check out the ADV riders forum. They have a section titled 'Is Mexico safe', and there are loads of guys there who travel all over South America.

 

I rode to Cabo San Lucas a couple of years ago. No problems encountered. I blew past Tijuana pretty quick and got to Ensenada, which was the advice of a biker I met on the way. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Friendly people, good food and booze.
