I’ll second for riding Scenic 7 from Hot Springs to Harrison. Ohio Club is one of our favorite stops in S.P. and if you like NY style pizza try DeLuca’s.
200ish mile range lessens the gas threat. There are stations, but sometimes they are closed or like I said only have regular. Those 80 to 120ish mile bikes are the ones that have to watch.
Ozark Cafe on weekends is often crazy to get in. There are a couple of other joints and a subway in Jasper, and Lo Gap is often suggested. Haven't caught them yet myself.
Stouts Point is the Petit Jean overlook 107Mo mentioned. Google maps has it listed as Stouts Point, Morrilton, AR. Right at the top of the hill on 154 above the Arkansas river. There is a sign and a gate. Just east of Winrock dr.
We often do Magazine, Nebo and Petit Jean as the 3 peaks run. Good views from each. There are patches and stickers about that. Nebo has some mean switchbacks...careful if you go up there. Personally, I like the Ozark twisties everywhere.
Been to Eureka Springs many times as well as Fayetteville during BBB. We will be headed to ES the end of September with a group of 10. I second Rockin Pig for a good food stop. Lots of great roads basically just ride and explore you won't be disappointed. I also recommend visiting the Crescent Hotel while in Eureka Springs you don't have to be a guest there to go to the balcony and enjoy the views.
u people in mo. ever get rid of your helmet law ? totally suks! i'd go to mo. more often if it weren't for having to ride with a helmet. saw where the law is sittin on the governors desk waitin for him to sign the bill to allow freedom for adult riders to decide for themselves! imagine that ! freedom to choose! how novel is that?! oh right, thats the way its 'sposed to be.
