Haven’t decided where but leaving in the morning
and see about a dozen of them. Type "then came bronson" in the search bar. Some are pretty cheesy to someone that knows mechanics and bikes, but thats hollywood.
Salmo Pass, keep us in the loop when ya can, ride safe. My trip starts tomorrow, and getting excited. I will post in my thread.
I stopped in a town called Rimbey for breakfast. This is in prairie farming country. Weather sucked until i got to the mountains. Rode 3 hrs in the rain heavy at times. Cleared up once i got to Canmore Alberta. Traveled hwy 40 over the highwood pass and worked my way to hwy 3 named - crows nest pass.
Typical central Alberta praires
First shot of the mountains hwy 40 going south towards kananaskis
This is one of my favorite mountains. The colorblooks different every time i take a picture of it.
Not sure if you can read this but speaks of gild still in the mountains. I find it hard to believe we have found all the gold. There is still some out there
Another far off range. The highway was very quiet today. Next to nothing for traffic
Back in 1903 this mountain gave away and buriedbthe town of Frank. Franks slide.
This is the other side of the highway probably half a mile from the mountain above
got a great camp spot in the town of Fernie tonight
that is 825km or approx 500 miles.
I have no plan for tomorrow yet. I am either breaking camp and going west or i may keep this spot and cross the border to the US and make a loop to Yak and back. Yak is the area where one of those mountain men live if you have ever watched that show on the history channel
