Truly appreciate all the responses! Heading down this Saturday and will post a few pics. Super stoked as this will be my first ride outside of my home state in a long while. Will be really happy if I can find a place with an outdoor pool to cool off in. Thanks again - y’all are great.

Look up devil's den / Hatfield McCoy , really nice riding. I stayed in the summersvile area and rode down there. Also if your in the summersville area theres a good bar for food and beer . Maloney's Pub

That sucks....32 in a 25! I frequently take some ‘liberty’ when it comes to the speed limit, circumstances and safety permitting. Now to remember....appreciate the heads up! I plan to go back when I have more time and check out more of the great riding in that area. I’ve ridden the crap out of Ky, TN and N.C. but haven’t gotten into much of WV even tho it’s my old ladies home state - different portion of it tho. Thx again for all the info and suggestions!

32 in a 25 will get you a ticket in about every small town with their own cop. Be careful, had some heavy showers last night, there will be some gravel washed out in the road, especially in the Gorge. Enjoy your trip, if you need anything, I'm 30 minutes from Hico with a lift and a garage full of tools.

Cooling off a bit and going out to explore some roads in the area until deer-thirty - I bet theyre out thick and early in this area. Taking DuraGlides suggestion and going to ride Rt 3 out of Beckley to Rt 10 into Huntington tomorrow morning. Oh yeah The Talon.....GREAT riding!!!
