I thought since these IBAers were meeting there that has to be a good place to eat. So I put it on my list of places to go by as I travel around the USA.
Sure enough, I had it scheduled to go to about four or five years ago. Cool right? Of course right.
I guy I was riding around the USA with asked if I could swing by his place in Texas. I thought, sure. Because there is a brand new Coopers Old Time BBQ in Austin, Texas and I will just eat there.
So while I was going to his place, I detoured a little bit too Austin, Texas to have lunch at Coopers Old Time BBQ. So I parked my bike about a block away on a hill. Walked down to the barbecue place and there was a large sign saying they are not open yet. WTF?!?! They are brand-new and it will not be opening for a few weeks yet.
I thought “F!”!!! When I checked the location on their website it said there is a location in Austin. And that was the exact address. I did not catch that it was not open yet.
So I was headed there originally. Got detoured. And then could not go to the barbecue place. It is almost like it was not meant to be.
So as I am putting in your listings (your listings) your listings, it is like you are rubbing this in my face. So as far as I am concerned, you owe me a lunch (or dinner) at Old Time Barbecue. <--- Still cute.
