Had an available weekend to sneak down to the Hill Country and get away with my wife for a day/night. Made a long loop through Rocksprings, Camp Wood, to Leakey for lunch at Bent Rim. Left there hit 337 to Bandera/11th St, then on to Kerrville for the night. Ate dinner at Mamacitas and ended the night with some college ball on the TV.
Great Weather and great time! Killed lots of Butterflies too!
Big Crowd at Bent Rim in Leakey Bent Rim Lunch Plenty to look at in Bandera at 11th St Bandera scenery Mamacitas was great as usual
It was an awesome trip. Even the ride home was a good ride. Low winds and perfect Temps.
I love the Texas hill country. One of these days I will take on the 3 sisters again. My fave place to go is the Llano, Fredericksburg, Sandy area. The Willow City Loop is awesome. So quite and peaceful.
