On one of my trips to Red Lodge, I stopped at an old school bus as I entered town that had Mexican food. Food was great. Someone told me that they had restaurant in a building now. Anyone know the name of the place? Thanks
FWIW, while in Red Lodge, they have the Candy Emporium I think it is called in an old movie theater.
It is diagonally across (to the left) of the Pollack Hotel.
I mention this place bcs I have never seen such a HUGE abundance of candy and they have EVERYTHING you can possibly think of.
If u r an old chap like me, there will be a flashback for candy way back when like the candy drops on a roll of paper u peel off with your teeth. Blackjack gum. Beach-Nut gum, etc......... EVERYTHING!!
That is bcs it is a Mexican restaurant. They are on "manyana"[sp] time. It will show up on google an abt a year.
You likely can call directly assistance (if it is still a thing) and get their phone number to see if they are there or not.
You can also call Pollack Hotel (406-446-0001) and ask them if that restaurant is there. I know that may sound like a strange thing to do my friend but they will know.
If not, you can try Red Lodge Pizza at 406-446-3333 tho a call there to see if that restaurant is open may be a bit strange. ...'juss try'n to help.
They did give up the Taco Bus and opened small place on the west side of the main drag. They didnt have a liquor permit but you could bring in your own. Great food but a search doesnt turn up anything.
Just asked Kim how long ago we ate there and it could have been 10 years.
