My14Ultra - Many of the businesses are seasonal - if you send them an email they'll probably get back to you in a few days. Many close shop and go to warmer climates for the winter.
Hooter - we're in Deadwood now for a couple nights now and it's damn cold - single digits and it's a ghost town.
Coming down the hill it looks like Fatboy96's pops is still waiting on his new shop doors.

And no riding in our near future. City sucks at clearing streets. Ice everywhere. I think we're boned till mid March. Maybe I should trailer it out there

i shouldn't be too happy, its been really dry and we really need the snow. the dusting we got yesterday will melt off over the next couple days and they're calling for some 50's next week, thats my threshold, usually warm enough by 1000 and temps hold till 1500, thats plenty of time for a nice cruise through the hills.
There's a good youtube channnel with lots of info on Rally stuff. One thing he said that really stuck with me is "Stay where you want to end the night". I typically stay in Deadwood and love it.

It's been a painfully slow process, I was through there a couple months ago and the right of way work was in progress but haven't been through lately. My understanding is they've had the funds for years to do it but it hadn't been completed and there was a point where they'd have to return the funding if it wasn't going to be completed. The proposed project would involve transportation improvements for approximately ten (10) miles of South Rochford Road, between the Town of Rochford and its intersection with Deerfield Road and is proposed for construction in 2022-2023. The project is considered necessary to improve year-round access to the Town of Rochford from the Deerfield Lake area. The existing roadway is difficult to maintain with gravel surfaces, steep grades, and drainage issues. Preliminary Plans

A special public meeting regarding the future of the South Rochford Road project was held on June 7, 2017. Special Public Meeting Notice
On June 20, 2017 the Pennington County Board of Commissioners voted to move forward with the project and authorized a work order for Interstate Engineering to begin design work. Construction is proposed to begin in 2021.
