Bridge Day Cancelled Again. Looking For Suggestions.
Bummer. That's a fun day. 5 of us were planning to head down there from upstate PA. I have the hotel room reservations so we might just go for a ride anyway. Any suggestions on what else we can do or see? We've been to the Lunatic Asylum tour, and we've been to the bridge. I took the Cass train ride a couple years ago. Maybe I'll just pick a new road, and go for a ride.

Riding down to the bottom,across to the other side is a fun challenging ride, Especially two up dragging a trailer, Rappelled off the bridge on Bridge day 90 and 92.

You far from PipeStem State Park? Hit the Mountain Creek Dining Room for dinner. Tram ride down in gorge is free if you eat there. We stayed in a cabin there for a week. Blue ridge parkway is great. Did the kayaks on the way to Pipestem.
Hit Tamarack for lunch and shopping outside of Beckley.
Catch the self guided walking tour of Hinton, WV. Beckley mine if it's open.
Call ahead in WV on everything. It was shutting down just as I was leaving and it's #2 in the country right now for problems.

Loved them both. Road that side winder lumber Cass train 3 time. Just went thru about a month back.
