Ride Planner App
It's not about getting there for me, it's about enjoying getting there. I could take the interstate and be there in 2 and a half hours and be completely worn out from dealing with insane traffic or I can take 5 hours and arrived in a good mood after an enjoyable trip. Most of the roads I want to travel on won't even show up on the map unless I am on the road and have the view fully magnified in, otherwise it actually shows me as not being on a road. We have so many very unpopulated areas in Florida that not many people have a reason to be traveling through, for me those are the best routes. But those roads normally don't come with road signs before or at the intersections so if I don't have them called out in a planned route I will miss the turn.

I've been using Tyre for years and it's pretty simple, following the directions EZ Moto Tim had in a video I tied Tyre to Google maps and I think it will be even better.

They are working on a new phone navigation app. Some of their business model is confusing to me but on signing up for the first time they offer you a lifetime membership for it but that is only the planner and not navigation. If you go for the phone navigation app you don't get the PC planner. And IMO it looks pretty pricey.
Looks like the same old Tyre on my computer, and it's still free.
To link it to Google follow these instructions in the Video before loading the program. You might have to delete the program and reinstall it as it asks for the API when it loads.
I was doing it wrong by creating a "way point" everywhere I wanted to make a turn. The program will only run from the first to the next "way point" then end, you would then need to reselect the route again (while riding) to get the next leg of the route to load (Hugh pain in the *** to do).
What I learned from the videos is to select a start and end point only. Then edit the route by moving points along the route (the round circles that show up when you hover over the route) to take you on the roads you want to travel along the way. It's just as much work as creating and loading individual stops to the route which you can't easily use anyways. It also eliminates having all of those stops in your Saved list.
Thanks everyone for your helpful participation in addressing this issue for me.

I was actually avoiding that with this bike so I wouldn’t see when the wife calls
