USA Tour by a Canuck
We continued through AZ, NM, and on to TX. NOLA was fun as we timed Mardi Gras. It was the 50th anniversary of Easy Rider, but no one but me seemed to care. We motored over to Daytona for Bike week, then ended up storing the motorcycles in Mt Ephraim, NJ at Barb's HD. Car rental for St. Patrick's Day in Boston - we say the Dropkick Murphys at House of Blues on the 17th. Driving the car back to Philadelphia, we flew home for a reprieve of the colder temperatures.
Returning 40 days later we resumed the trip, checking out the White House, Williamsburg, Tail of the Dragon, Memphis. We met some relocated friends from Niagara in Cleveland and checked out the RR Hall of Fame. Then up to Ontario - visiting family - then over the big bridge in Sarnia to Port Huron. We pounded the roads over to Milwaukee ad really enjoyed the behind the scene tour they had.
Strangely our trip had us returning to Las Vegas to a good friends wedding vow renewal. It didn't work as they're now divorced, and he and I are no longer on the best terms. We returned to Canada, and when tallied was over 15,000 miles. We did some short [80 mi] and some longer [650 mi] days. My wife rode [rides] my 2009 FLHX with a DMC sidecar. She hoofed that thing around North America, a feat in itself. If she want's to stop, she's probably ready for a rest...
I look forward to another long epic ride - I feel like I have a couple coming - but in retirement...
Most dealerships will store for you - for a fee. We paid $2 a day in NJ [2019], and LVNV is like $70 a month. If you get work done - they have waived the fee...
Good luck with your trip.
