I need to get up there again , it’s been too long. Now idont know when I will ride again with my wife , she has neck issues, pinched nerve in her spine, she’s been crying. Sunday night in the ER, dr today and waiting to get a MRI scheduled . We were planning a trip to UP in August. On hold for now.

Ouch, that doesn't sound good. Sending wishes for quick diagnosis and fix. Need to get her well so we can go on another 3 day BBQ run!
Definitely not a road to miss when you're in the area. For my money I enjoyed the Moonshiner 28 the best of any of the roads (including the Dragon) I rode in the area.
Waiting for a MRI. , should be in the next few days. Initial diagnosis is Anterolisthesis, they want to look at a a MRI before jumping to conclusions. Shes on Flexiril, prednisone and some pain meds.

A friend of mine is trying to have this named ride around Lake James officially named and recognized. I live right off it and ride it often. Its fun and for now free of traffic.

That is a beau ride and area. I hope the name sticks.
So many fine roads and we've been fortunate to ride more than our share of them. 209, 276, 441, FHP, LRG, 28, 80, 226A, 221, 9.....and many more. The worst thing is having to choose one or two on a given day and ignore all the others. So many more to discover too.
