Black Hills Motorcycle Show
It rained at times, but otherwise the weather cooperated for May in Deadwood. It could have easily been snow.
There were about 120 bikes in the show that were seperated into similar categories.
This is a bike we picked up from the Sturgis Museum that was in the show.
Bikes in staging area waiting to get inside the building
A few really nice vintage bikes
One of my personal favorites
This bike is a barn find that they got running, but was left as is otherwise.

I thought these last few items for sale by a vendor, MetalWoodGarage, were interesting. Some were made from motorcyle or automotive parts.
In the first pic holding the guitar is Jeff Kelderman, owner of this Kiwi Indian bobber next to the '55 and the Joe Dirt bagger. Jeff bought the Joe Dirt superbird movie car. I probably saw you there, would have bought you a cold one, I was the bald guy with the Hill City Cycles mechanic shirt. Was that your chopper ?

The blue chopper belongs to the guy in the middle of the first picture. He is on Instagram under Lone Star Choppers, and there are lots of details of the build of that bike. The bike had been on display in the Sturgis Museum for the past year. He is a long time riding buddy that grew up in Texas, but lives in the St Louis area now. We get together several times a year, usually at a bike show somewhere.
The event was managed well, although to me the bikes were a little too crowded together to get a good look at some of them. But there were 130 bikes registered so there may not have been other options.
