Default Natchez Trace Hotel recommendatons?

We're in the planning stage for doing the Natchez Trace ride in October, Anyone have a recommendation for a "nice" place to stay for two nights in Natchez MS???
Our plan is to ride South to North ending in Nashville TN with an overnight stop in Tupelo MS, Then head South again down to Coosa County AL, Down to Ft. Rucker AL then head West again for home.
Haven't been back East since the Army sent me to Ft. Rucker back in the late 60's, my family was originally from Coosa County and Grandfathers going back generations are buried there, will look them up and say "Howdy"
Anywho that's our plan for the fall, and any recommendations appreciated.

I've done the Trace 3 times.
Twice via motorcycle (southbound) and once (northbound) via convertible along with another couple.

Depending on your desires I'd say a good time frame would be between 2-3 days unless you just want to "haul-***" and make it in a single day, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of driving on a scenic highway.

Best locations (depending on your direction of travel) for lodging, especially during the riding season, would IMO either be Jackson or Tupelo but be sure to stay in nicer/safer motels.

When I rode south with my cousins (in 2015) we took the Trace down to Port Gibson and the opted to then head north on RT-61 (North) all which is a sedate, farm land like road) the way to just south of Memphis.
We got motel rooms (which was very reasonable rates) and then rode up to Memphis to do the Graceland Tour.

FWIW, we stopped in Cleveland, MS at a soul food place (can't remember the name) but their food was fantastic!

When we were in cars, we got an early start and did the entire trip in one day!
It was a beautiful, sunny day ride but boring as we had to get to Nashville to meet friends for dinner and only stopped a couple of times for fuel, snacks and restrooms.

Pl
Thanks Guy, We (the Boss) said 3 days, So I guess that's what it will be. In no real rush, for Natchez we're looking into the old Antebellum Plantation Bed and Breakfasts.

It wouldn’t be boring if you could ride it at 70mph. Lots of history, beautiful road, stopped at Muscle Shoals for a break.

You do realize that police sometimes patrol this road, correct?
Posted speed (when I was there) was mostly 50 MPH with some areas being lowered to 40 MPH,
I set my cruise at 55MPH and enjoyed the scenery.
