I live in Southwest Missouri and, in my opinion, some of the best local riding is in Arkansas. Check out this web site:

The scenic 7 byway is great riding. I've been all through the northern section, it never gets old. I plan to ride the southern section in the next couple of years.

Four of us were just in Rogers, AR. (Feb 28th-March 2nd) Road between there and Hot Springs. We would have ended up in Jasper but took one wrong turn and ended up just south of there, so we decided to keep heading south. We did a lot of research on hotels and chose the Residence Inn in Rogers, AR. They have a breakfast buffet that was great, a meal that would cost you $50 per couple if you went out. They had perfect reviews and we had a perfect stay as well. Northwest Arkansas has some great scenery and the roads were in great condition. Here are a couple of pics just south of Jasper. I can see this being real nice in the summer and fall.
