Did the whole trace. Plan your gas stops because there is only one gas sation on the trace. There is no red lights no stop signs and the speed limit is 50!! Don't plan on stopping for all of the stops because it will take a week to ride the trace. Just like the gas plan your sight seeing stops.

We're planning a trip to do the Trace the first weekend of April. I kinda expect we'll get wet at some point but this time worked best for all of us going. On Friday we'll be coming from the Memphis/Helena area the first day. Planning on getting on theTrace at Tupelo (gotta see Elvis's birthplace) and then heading south. I expect we'll get at least as far asJacksonand maybe as far as Natchez on this day....it does not matter how far we get. We're keenly aware of the speedlimit and just plan on a good slow ride for as long as we can take it!! After the Trace we're undecided where to go, maybe the gulf area or maybe head back north through Vicksburg, over into Louisiana and up into the Ozarks of Arkansas. Gotta be home by Tuesday. Any suggestions?

Gulf coast should be seen at least once...preferably from a minivan or airplane....but riding is tiresome straight
