Colorado
I'm starting to plan my 4th annual Colorado road trip next 4th of July.
We usually stay in Breckenridge and do day rides out of there.
The first year we rode over to Grand Junction and did the Colorado Moument State Park and the Grand Mesa.
My question is what is in eastern Utah worth seeing.
I know Arches National Park is there. Any routes or suggestions would be appreicated.
thanks

I would suggest Dinosaur National Monument between Rangely, CO and Vernal, UT. The ride from Grand Junction to Vernal is very nice with some great twisties and a 10000 foot pass.
Take I-70 west from Grand Junction to CO-139 and go north to Rangely, turn left and go through town to US-40 west. You will pass the turn off for the monument before you get to Vernal. The Field House in Vernal is worth checking out also. From Grand Junction to Vernal is about 140 miles and it will take about 4 to 4.5 hours one way. Watch for deer especially in the AM.
