I won't even get on I-90 to go across South Dakota, much less the entire length of it. Entirely featureless, except for the Missouri River valley at Chamberlain. And that lasts for about two minutes. Hope you can keep from falling asleep on I-35.
Has anyone bought this type of sling shot before that holds the amo in the handle? http://www.***********.com/sporting_1.htm
this company has free shipping to anywhere in the world and they guarantee delivery to Australia. I heard that sling shots
are ok to sell in Australia as long as you say they are being used to toss bait in the water when you go fishing, any truth
to thatone?

My wife and I are gonna be making practically the same trip (in reverse) at some point this spring or summer. We hail from Gilbert MN but I'm stationed at Tinker AFB in OK. Ours promises to be a bit more uncomfortable though as we're doing it on a Sportie. Unless she lets me get that Softail Custom I've been eyeing.
Kski,
Feel free to join us on the way back if you're inclined to a bit of a fast run. In the first post I have a web site listed with info. otherwise feel free to look us up when passing through the southern part of MN. (we went by Gilbert last Aug. on the way to Int. Falls).
From Fort Worth to Austin I-35 Is a parking lot, don't know what its like after Austin,If I were you I would Take US 281. I could be wrong but I think it runs from border to border.
I too will be making this ride in reverse in June. I will be riding to my home town of Aitkin, MN to ride in CAMS Ride. My little brother works for the shop that is the primary sponsor of Cruising for Autism in Minnesota. I have driven I-35 from one end to the other, some pretty boring stretches of road. If y'all need anything in the Dallas-Ft Worth area please contact me. PM me for contact info.
will do hmath10,
If you need anything when you're in MN let me know, if I'm around I can help ya otherwise I can get you in touch with any of the area CMA chapters. we're always willing to help another biker.
Thanks FLSTC-08. If y'all don't have plans for the 27 of June come over to Aitkin, MN and ride CAMS with us. See our site camsride.com. We are working on getting more info posted to the site. Let me know when y'all are coming thru the Dallas area.
In talking to the other riders in the group we decided to take I-35 from Duluth to Laredo but on the way back up we with take an easterly course through Arkansas as time permits same milage but more 2 lane roads for the sceneary, hotel stops will work out about the same.
