Got me an 07 Heritage now so that should make my trip a little bit more comfortable. Just have to upgrade the pillion for the wife.

Hmath - I was just in Dallas a couple weeks ago. I bought my Heritage from Dream Machines of Texas. The ride there on the sporty was a pain but the ride back was amazing. That CAMS ride sounds pretty cool. I'll look into it.

We rode over 175k miles on our '98 Sportster throughout the whole country - loved it, no problems with comfort nor packing...

Bought the '07 Heritage new in '07 (picture on our website) - loved it too... Hubby changed the 'pillion' for me also... Had the wider seat installed with the 'kromets'...

Had a problem opening the top of the saddle bags as the new seat width came over the top of the saddle bags... Still, absolutely loved the Softail...

Traded it in last October for the '09 TriGlide.... Fantastic, love the trike and the reverse is awesome...
