God willing I will ride those roads in the near future. They have been on my bucket list for some time. Great pics - thanks.

I prefer to ride west to east starting in Cooke City. From Red Lodge then head south towards Cody (through Belfrey) and connect onto Chief Joseph back towards Cooke City. Nice little round trip ride.

Either direction you chose will be fine.

Certainly could be depending on snow removal and road damage.
You might be able to find a site that gives average opening dates.
