A few years ago the dealer in Portland directed us to an awesome place, i can't remember the name but i imagine the dealer could help you out.

Where are you coming from? The best lobstah joints are on the coast, and depending, that could be as easy as an hour or 5 hours away. When we go to Laconia from Bar Harbor, on our way back we ride the Kancamagus Highway, which is a great route, but you might be a ways from the coast. How much time do you have for the ride?

If you are leaving from Laconia itself you can take RT 11 south which is kind of a main road, or take rt 107 south to rt 4 west which is a little more back road. 107 south to 28 north to 126 south is another nice route. Not sure how old you are, so you may fit right in, or feel a little young, but guaranteed good lobster at a good price is the Weathervane right across the NH/ME border in Kittery. There are also a bunch of outlet malls in Kittery as well as the Kittery Trading Post which is a great outdoors store.

The routes are just a couple I knew off the top of my head. There are a bunch of other little routes that you could piece together and really get onto the back roads, but those two I gave you are well marked and fairly well traveled so they are almost always in good shape. IIRC there is a HD dealer on Rt 11 also.

Fox's Lobster House in York, ME. It's on the water right by Nubble Light. Beautiful location and great lobster. After that I'd head to Robert's down in Kittery for oysters and cold beer.
