The day of my "Ride of a Lifetime" is finally here. I'm leaving Seattle tomorrow (I had my bike shipped out there to give myself some extra days on the back end) for Anchorage, AK.

My stops will be Williams Lake BC, Dawson Creek BC, Muncho Lake BC, Whitehorse YT, Tok Alaska, then Anchorage.

After five days of visiting Family in Bethel, AK (via plane- no roads to get there), the return trip via a different route (The Cassiar Highway):

Beaver Creek YT, Watson Lake YT, Hazelton BC, Williams Lake BC, then Seattle, where I'll meet two old Friends.

We'll head west to Highway 101 along the coast, doing Newport OR, Fortuna CA, Roseville CA, Elko NV, Rawlins WY, Lincoln NE, then home to Chicago.

I've been waiting for this one for a long time.

I'm wondering what the heck your family is doing up in Bethel, Alaska...no roads?...wow.

Make sure to stop in at the Harley dealer in Lincoln...it is the new one just off I-80 called Frontier H-D. Very cool and it has a mini museum on the mezzanine over looking the main floor.
