I just rode down there last weekend but for the life of me cannot remember the name of the place we ate lunch. It was pretty good, but I am not helping you much .
IMO it would be worth your time to ride past Nags Head after you eat and down through the park towards Hatteras.
Sugar Shack on the causeway next to the turn to the National Seashore. Beer and a shrimp basket $12 on the picnic tables lookin over the sound after a 3 hr ride from home does me well every time.

My wife and I will be at Kill Devil on Monday evening and Beaufort on Tuesday. This is part of our 7 day long trip from Cincinnati Ohio and back. We will check out some of these suggestions!

I Have to second Sam & Omies. Looks like an old beach house, but packs the parkinglot 2 times every day. It is real close to the 7-Eleven and the Chevron and KFC on the beach front road in Naggs Head Whatever the special is, its good. Stuffed porkchop and crableggs is what we had. Awesome people running it to. We ate there during OBX week. I was cracking the leggs and feeding them to my wife. The owners wife saw it and gave us the Leggs for Free. I like free when its a $20 app.
Very biker friendly.
Check the local tourist mags for discounts to Millers waterfront Restaurant. Awesome stuff there too.
