Rode up to Odessa, WA for lunch today at the Rolling Thunder Saloon. Odessa is just a one horse town and there's not much there but 2 brothers are trying to get the saloon known as a biker destination ride. I was the only one there so Nate (one of the owners) and I had a nice visit. It's a nice, friendly place to stop for a cold one and some lunch. They have started an annual 9/11 run to pay tribute to a fallen military person and it's turned into big event. If you're passing through or looking for a day ride put the Rolling Thunder on your map and say hi to Nate. http://www.rollingthundersaloon.com

Thanks for the info.
Always looking for destinations I haven't been to yet, that make for a decent Saturday morning ride (I live in the Tri-cities - Richland/Kennewick/Pasco).
I got there about 11 and there was not much going on at all. I got a cold Pepsi and said hi to Nate then checked out the only vendor that was there selling a few doo dads and what not. It was getting on about lunch time so I boogied on down the road to Wilson Creek to the tavern there and had a hamburger and then got home just as it started to rain. Nice ride but not much excitement. Don't know if more bikes showed up or not.
Must have just missed you. Got there about 1230. In fact I parked close to that hydrant. A few more bikes lined up on the street, but nobody really doing anything. A few people just walking around. Saloon had a tattoo guy in there, there was a vendor across the road. I walked up and down the road for about 20 min, then left. I came in on Highway 28 from highway 2 through Davenport, then left out highway 21 to I90. Oh well nice ride to kill a few hours. Sunny the whole time.
