Rides in Minnesota?

Rides in Minnesota?

Can anyone suggest any scenic/interesting rides within an hour of Minneapolis. There are many rides up north but it would take 3 hours to get there. I am looking for a ride this weekend and would prefer 2 lane back-country roads. Just did a ride from Stillwater to Taylor Falls and am looking for more.

Well, you're kinda limited by time but one suggestion I have would be to get yourself over to I-35 and head north to Hwy 48. Take 48 east to Danbury, WI and then jump on State Hwy 35 south which will take you all the way back to I-94. State 35 is considered a national scenic highway if I'm not mistaken. I know I've always enjoyed it.
