Nocarb, thanks for that website. Was thinking about eating my way around the country and having a list of places to check out will help. May need to buy a heavier bike depending on how much weight I gain.
I've done a couple rides where I hit spots that were on the Diners, Drive-ins & Dives TV show. So far none of the places disappointed. It is kind of fun to setup a ride with that type of theme. A couple years ago I did a cross-country ride where I stopped at every MLB bar park in the southern US as I rode from LA to Jacksonville, FLA. That was an expensive trip, but I had some really great hot dogs.
Live to ride..... ride to eat.
No one would even think about hopping in a car, and driving 200 miles for sandwich.... but suggest hopping on the bikes and going, and suddenly it's a great idea.
