Default Myrtle Beach

Planning a family trip to Myrtle Beach with the In Laws. My buddy has a trailer that I can use. I was just wondering if with all the new city ordinances if it was worth take my bike and my father in laws bike. My father in laws is a stock bike, but I have Vance and Hines slip ons and hog tunes replacement speakers (and always have them cranked up). Will that violate the noice ordinance. I always wear a helmet so I am not concerned about that one. If it is worth trailering the bikes where are some must ride places or some must stop places to eat (this big boy likes to eat HA!). Thanks for all the input!

Take your bike.....the riding is great! As long as you wear a helmet within the city limits, you will be fine. If you are not within the city limits, forget the helmet. Your pipes are fine. Enjoy the roads!!

We rode thru Myrtle a couple of times last year. Had no problems. Most of the time we rode around the city. Very few bikes in Myrtle last year at bike week. Everyone rode outside city limits.

Leave Myrtle Beach on 501 to Conway..At the foot of the bridge in Conway turn right twice to get on Hy 701 South. 701 runs from Conway to Georgetown (the back way) and there are several excellent places to eat on 701 as well as being a beautiful ride. Rad Dews BBQ is just down the road on the right, The Bucksport Marina is about half way to Georgetown and is a beautiful spot on the river with a restaurant. When you get into Georgetown go to the historic riverfront where there are several good restaurants as well as shops. Take 17 back to Myrtle Beach which will take you through Murrels Inlet (Suck Bang Blow) or go back the way you came, it is a pleasent ride for an afternoon.

River City is a great place. Very low key. Sit and enjoy a beer eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. Great food, very friendly.

It's on 21st street about a block from the beach.

Forgot to mention to bring a sharpie so you can write your names somewhere. That's if you can find a place to write them!
