I searched high and low, but there are absolutely zero Boston Pizza restaurants along this route. I bet we can find some Molson Canadian, though!

And we might have enough people for some real Village People pictures

If you want some good pizza along the way, try Pagliacci's in the Seattle area. Mmmm, they had some good pizzas...

Looks like you guys are going on an awesome road trip. I am definitely very envious. If I had any suggestions, it would be to check out some of the national parks you're riding by. I'm sure you've got your reasons for the route you've chosen but it looks like you'll be passing by Yellowstone/Grand Tetons, not that far from Glacier, Redwoods, Death Valley and Yosemite.

Have a safe and exciting trip!

we are definitely doing Redwoods and Yosemite... the other require more detouring than we have time for.

Out of all the national parks, Yosemite is my favorite so you have my blessing.

A few places worth checking out...

Hurricane Ridge... Olympic National Park
Sol Duk Hot Springs (hike up to the falls)... Olympic National Park
Hoh Rain Forest... Olympic National Park

Avenue of the Giants Northern California

The wife and I are headed up to Olympic National Park in June, gonna camp for a few days at Lake Ozette and hike out to the coast.. then I'll take her over to Vancouver Island to the Butchart Gardens for a day... then North Cascades NP then Seattle for a couple of days... then down to Mt. Rainer NP.. then home...

Looks like you are missing the gem of the PCH, that is the part of CA 1 between Monterey and San Luis Obispo.

Maybe the map is off, but we are taking 1 from Port Angeles, WA to Ventura, CA. We are heading inland to Windsor for a night, but we'll be back-tracking back out to the coast the next morning. We'll definitely be riding that stretch!

As far as the National Parks go:
(1) We did a nice 5-day trip to Yellowstone last year.
(2) I don't think the Road to the Sun in Glacier will even be open on June 5-6
(3) Death Valley in mid-June? Maybe at night!
(4) Definitely going to see North Cascades, Olympic, and Redwoods, plus some other state parks.
(5) Two of us went through Yosemite and Kings Canyon/Sequoia a few years ago. I would love to ride through there again...it's a "maybe" on the way home. That Tioga Pass Rd on the north side is amazing!

Have National Parks Pass - will travel!

Just checked the map... the Harley ride planner is pretty cool most of the time but I swear everytime I change anything it effects everything else.

Like Dan said, we wouldn't miss that part!

Just north of Windsor is Healdsburg. If you have time, it would be a nice stop, IMO. The wife and I go there often, it's a small town with good wines. Try the deli in the town square. Lunch would be best, the town kinda closes up after 8:00. There is also a brewery in town, Bear Republic Brewery. Take a cruise on Drycreek Road, very nice ride thru the vineyards.

If you want an outragously awesome steak dinner, on your way down to Ventura, stop by Jocko's Steak House in Nipomo. They cook their Spencer Steaks on mesquite bbqs. You can watch your meat being cooked. It's a fun atmosphere and a great place to drink a few cold ones. Very biker friendly and reasonably priced. You eat on picnic tables. It's cool.
