what would be a fast and interesting route from laughlin, nv. to erie, pa.
was thinking about northern route but not sure about weather.
trips planned for june, july, or aug.
My suggestion would be I-15 north, I-70 East, then north out of Denver on I-25, 76 across the corner of Colorado into Nebraska then you're pretty much eastbound and rolling!
Been there, done that! Threw away the t-shirt!!! I grew up in KS. I would do most anything to avoid riding across 70.
80 is a little better in my opinion although you're riding across the heartland, the wheat belt, call it what you like it ain't the Rockies for sure. If you're looking to make pretty good time and will be riding interstate, I would go 80 over 70.
