On my ride to Sturgis this summer I am stopping over in Oklahoma City and am looking for suggestions on places to relax and have a few beers while in town - biker friendly of course!
Just spent a night on Oklahoma City on our ride out to LA from NY.
Can't remember the name but there was a bar on the river that had a live blues band playing. The band was good & everybody in the place was friendly.
There was another place I think called Tapworks??? Not too sure but they had over 100 beers on tap from all over the place.
We stayed in the Sheraton which was a 5-min walk to Bricktown. On a Friday night the Govt. rate was $85 and the hotel was immaculate. They had us park our bikes overnight right in front of the place. There was a 24-hr valet that kept an eye on them.
And don't forget to stop by and see the memorial before you leave. It's right in the middle of the city. Worth every second of your time.
The only thing I know about OK City is they have the world's largest tube of caulk there. I plan on seeing that late this summer or on the way to Bikes, Blues and BBQ.
