Default Map Suggestion

I usually use my iPhone for google map route. However, this is my first trip from Texas to Smokey Mountain and never been out there. I was thinking of getting some good map. Since I do not know much about other states along the way, thought this Harley-Davidson® Ride Atlas of North America (2nd Edition) may be good idea?

Do ya'll have any other suggestion that may be better?

No suggestion on the maps to get there, but once you are there, you may find some of these maps useful.

You can contact the state tourism organizations for the states you'll be passing through. Most of the official tourism websites have an info request link. They'll send you official state maps for free.
