Just a little tip for anyone planning to be in southern WI, La Crosse area or east.
Great county park/campground just south of La Crosse, $20/night and it's on the river. Also great riding, we took county K just out of the campground across WI 35, then WI 162 N to WI33. Took WI 33 all the way to Baraboo. Great riding the whole way. Worth doing if you have the time.
I agree, some great roads in sw Wisconsin. We just rode 69 from Monroe to 39-191-18-35 cross the rive before La Crosse up to Minn and turned around and rode the Great River Road back to Dubuque. Great roads, hilly and twisty.
