The BRP changes as the elevations get higher. I like the N Carolina part by Mt Mitchell. We did Skyline and the BRP a few years back. You end up at Smokey Mt nat. park in Cherokee. Lots of traffic in the park. Rangers running radar traps on the main rd.

There's a great Harley shop there. Downtown there is a renovated historic hotel (Stonewall Jackson Hotel). We stayed there and loved it, very reasonably priced and beautiful. Across the street is the Old Mill Restaurant which serves great BBQ. Hope you enjoy your trip. I hope we get back out there before the season is over.
