old enough to draw social security and never been to sturgis. how far away would you have to stay to find a room for a couple of nights in the $100 to 150/night range? what watering holes are must do's? can you get an admission ticket to one of the campgrounds/shows for 1 night-or do you have to buy a ticket for entire week? have been to black hills before and not really interested in any rides...1,300 miles in the august heat to get there is enough riding. want to kick back and see the sights. thank you for any ideas.
You might find room in town for that, start looking now. Rapid City should be no problem.
One Eyed Jacks down town is fun
Full Throttle is a must see
Monkey Rock across the street is said to be fun in the evening
You can go to all concerts at Buffalo Chip on a one ticket for all concerts or by the event
I belive the venue behind Monkey Rock has tickets for each concert as well.
Also both of the Broken Spokes are a good time, one in town and the other about nine miles north of town
Hope this helps, if you have more questions just let me know,WR.
