SW CO - The Beginning
The plan was for a leisurly wander through SW CO. I wanted to travel some roadways I havn't been on yet, see some sights I havn't seen yet, and revisit some places I hadn't been to in a while. I was traveling alone, which I often prefer. I don't strike up conversations with strangers. I spend my working days talking with a variety of people about a lot of stuff. When I have time to myself, I like to keep my own council, so to speak.
Was this to be a Journey of Discovery? A chance to find myself? A chance to meet new paople and make new friends across this great state? Or maybe the oppurtunity to find the Real America on the blue roads? Nah, none of that new age crap. It was an oppurtunity to do some serious goofing off, and I wasn't about to pass that up

The plan was pretty simple. Pack my old backpacking gear on the new bike, pick some roads and destinations, and let the rest come as it may. I'm a pretty cheap guy, so I planned to tent camp a couple of nights, and hotel it the rest. I carried food, a stove, and my coffee pot. I had 5 free days, and didn't know if I would be gone that long. I didn't really have a schedule. I figured I would be home when I'd been where I wanted to go, and seen what I wanted to see.
I had a great trip, and took a lot of pictures. Stay tuned for more.
