Search for past post. I am sure he will come up and have plenty of ideas in his past post. Good Luck.

I lived in Jackson Hole for nearly 20 years, if I were to go back for a two week bike trip, with the RV, I'd stay over in Idaho. I'd find a good RV park somewhere well outside of West Yellowstone, MT. From there you'd have easy, scenic access to everything. Eastern & Northern Idaho, Southwest Montana as well as Western Wyoming. You could easily avoid YNP traffic and always feel a bit off the beaten path. Hope you have a great time

do you have a suggestion for a town to hub out of??? that way i can research for rv' or koa parks.

the wife is really concerned about the weather and the cold! we know it can turn bad extremely quick but were waiting till this late in the year to hopefully avoid the vacation crowd.

I agree with Atticus, the route he recommended is great, not very long but worth your time. I also agree that 14 days in that area is going to be too much, especially if you're not interested in Yellowstone. I would recommend heading east towards the Bighorns or north to Glacier NP. Of course you'll want to hit Chief Joseph and Beartooth. Hwy 93 in Idaho, up through Salmon is a nice ride. All of these routes could get pretty dicey as far as weather is concerned, no matter what time of year.
