Please give suggestions/comments for my next trip. The trip starts in Southwest Minnesota and goes through St. Louis, to Memphis(Graceland), to "The Dragon", to Tobacco Road, to Chincoteague, back toward Louisville, to covered bridges near Indianapolis, to Madison, Wi, and back to Minnesota.
The plan is two days to get to Memphis. Can we get to Maryville in one day from Memphis? Ride the dragon on to Raleigh in one day. Then to Queen Anne?? Maryland(couldn't find anything near Chincoteague). Any ideas on the easiest way to get to West Virginia from Chincoteague??
We like to do about 400 miles a day. Is this doable?
Any suggestions are welcome?
Hey wait a minute, stop and smell the roses or at least take a picture so you can look at it later. If you average 55 miles an hour thats around 8 hours a day riding. If this is a trip then where are you going on vacation? Might as well do an Iron Butt. It looks like you want to go to some really good places. Thats great but don't see those great places from your mirrors.
The only real timeline we have is Memphis to Chingoteague. Sad to say we won't be able to spend much time in the area of the Dragon but that could always be another trip.
