Headed out in the morning for Milwaukee. Got some stops planned out on the way on Old Route 66 then staying 2 nights in Milwaukee. Going to check out the HD Museum, Miller Brewery and etc. Then going to do some riding and head down to Chicago and stay a night there before heading back home.

Looking forward to 4 days on the bike.

HD Museum is pretty cool, an the restaurant there has good eats. Chicago traffic sucks big time though, anyway, enjoy you trip and be Safe.

 

Thursday night is bike night at the museum. They're supposed to be showing the new CVOs tomorrow night. I plan to be there. Give a holler if you make it to Milwaukee by then.

 

Yup, starts tomorrow @ 5 pm. They say they are showing all 2012 bikes. The weather should be great for the event. The Milwaukee 3rd Ward is only a couple blocks away for some good places to eat and drink.

museum...agree, restaurant....disagree i had a terrible experience there, chicago traffic....agree, lots of flamers that work there though, very odd.

 

I been to bike night a couple of times. We went to the resaurant, not so good. We might head down there tomorrow.

 

stay at the IRON HORSE HOTEL best place you will ever stay. we stayed there a few weeks ago when we road out to Milwaukee from California what a ride

 

Stay at the Iron Horse Hotel, just across the river from the museum, and take the steel toe tour.
