Key West bound, Aug 3rd...counting the days. Any current info, construction issues, new sights and places to stay? Traveling companions? Would love some chatter and opinions... Heading south from Mississippi.

whats your route for the east coast leg to the keys?.....A1A can be slow and go at times once you get to west palm beach and south to miami....might be better to take 95 or turnpike depending on how much time ya got.....wife and i prolly will be going down on saturday....we go turnpike to homestead....then take card sound road to key largo....then continue south on 1........ride safe....

 

Yep, I agree. I went down to Key West the first week of June. If you take Card Sound road make sure and stop at Alabama Jacks just before the toll bridge. A really neat place to stop and have a cold drink!
