Road Trip 2011
I am leaving Friday Morning for a roadtrip I had ask for INFO on back in May. My route starts just west of Portland Oregon through Craters of the Moon ID, Grand Tetons WY, Odgen UT to see the golden spike, Zion, up through Bryce then across to Arches. From there I am going into CO, down to Durango, Mesa Verde, Ouray, Montrose, Canon City for the Royal Gorge Bridge and railroad. Next comes Dodge City KS because it is there. From there Moore OK, free food and lodging. Continuing to the Pig Trail AR and then the MO State HOG Rally back to OK. From Moore I will head to Amarillo TX and then Farmington NM for 2 days. I will ride to Monumet Valley and 4 corners then back for the second night. The next day up to Durango again and back across 50 to Salida. I will return to Amarillo for a party. Now ot will be time to head home. I will head to Winslow AZ and from there I will make the call to go up thriugh UT or head towards Las Vegas and up the eastern side of CA to about Mount Shasta where would head to the Redwoods and up the southern Oregon coast stopping at every light house from Mendocino to Cannon Beach, OR. There are a few loops in this due timing with others. Wife can only make part of the trip then I will ride for 2 weeks with my brother. The return trip is solo.
