Default My Western North American Trip

Well ever since I threw a leg over my first street bike, I had wanted to do the 101 from Vancouver, BC down to Sandiego, CA it's an amazing piece of road that follows the west coast all the way down, well I have decided being that I turned 30 recently that next summer is going to be the time for me to do this. I have planned out my route leaving from SK, heading over to Vancouver to pickup a friend, and then leaving from there, heading down to the coast probably stopping twice on the way down to San Diego (not sure where yet) then from San Diego heading to Las Vegas up through Joshua Tree and the Mojave national preserve, spending a wild night or two in Vegas as well as doing an oil change, and heading out Salt Lake City bound heading through the pass between the Zion national Park and Dixie National forest all the way up through fairview & birdseye before getting back on the interstate to cruise into Salt lake City (Not sure if there will be any stops in there. From Salt Lake City it will be up to Yellow Stone via Moran Junction, from Yellow Stone it will be up into Montana and through Helena, coming back up into Canada at Taber, then it's a strait shot for home. Hope to have a few guys add on and drop off through out the trip, it will be a dream coming to life for me to do the ride and I can't wait to put the miles behind me and the memories in my mind for ever.

Here is a map of the route I plan on taking.

Default Might want to plan a few more stops.

I've been down that way a few times from Vancouver. It's a long way but maybe long days aren't a problem for you. Took me 2 days just to get to the Oregon Washington border. That's just me maybe but take some warm clothes since the coastal hwy can get pretty cold. Have fun.
