Moto Gp or bust
I am a little late posting this but I took my first trip on my first Harley. I rode from Nashville to Indy weekend before last for the moto gp weekend. I had a ball. It was only about 600 miles round trip but seeing how I have ridden only sportbikes for the last 18 or so years, this is by far the longest motorcycle ride I have ever taken. I must say it was very enjoyable, not to mention the entire downtown district was off limits to cars and bikes were stacked like a deck of cards for more blocks thenI cared to walk. I know I will never get the sportbikes out of my system for good but on the street you couldnt pry me off of this road glide with a crowbar. I cant wait to see how far I can ride this thing in a day. I met guys who had ridden fom all over the country, including a guy on a BMW who was passing through on his way from Mexico to Alaska. I dont think I am ready for that yet!

Hope to make it to a MotoGP race as well one of these years, but for sure, sportbikes and sporting rides are in my blood and I will always enjoy riding them on the track and on twisting roads. Thanks for the report!

Man, I love sport bike racing. I watch or tape it on SPEED Channel every week. 200 MPH on the straights. Moto GP , FIM, AMA, and Daytona V-Twins. My last sport bike was a 1998 Suzuki TL1000R. Damn that was a fast bike. It was yellow so it was even faster. I am 50+. Bought my first Harley 3 years ago. Reflexes not as quick as they used to be. Ride safe
