so,trying to plan this road trip from upstate NY to Daytona in a couple of weeks.Would love route suggestions. Want to stay off of 95.Thanks for any help.....
If you have the time, I would suggest doing a few miles on the Blue Ridge Pkwy as you travel thru N.Carolina. The leaves on the Pkwy should be "a blaze" the middle of Oct.
Mrmighty,
We are driving Down from NH and taking the mass pike to 87 in NY to 287 to 78 over to 81. Then a overnight in Virginia. Then a little run on rhe BRP to 77. The all the way to 26 for a bit then 311, a awesome ride on SC. finish ghe day on 95 to northern FL. The last day we will take A1A thevremainder to Ormond Beach. Check it out.
Depending on your schedule for time, once you reach Ga. pick up hwy441. Its a good ride down to Lakeland Fla. Take hwy 100 down to Ormond Beach, which is just north of Daytona on A1A.

That should be Lake City of course.
But it is a good suggestion.
100 from Lake City to Bunnell is a nice,
quiet road. No real traffic until you get
to Palatka and have to ride down hwy 17
for a bit. But it isn't a real big town.
