For many years I have stayed at Elkview Campground off I-90 exit 37 near Sturgis. It has very good shower facilities and a Pavilion with a bar and food service. Some light entertainment in the evenings.

Very quiet and well behaved campers. For tent camping the place is so big that no reservations are needed. Cost is $23/night/person. But if you do preregister they knock $4/night/person off.

Day 5 we rode the whole gammit of Sturgis-Needles Hwy, Crazy Horse Mount Rushmore and a whole bunch of little towns along the way. Some really sweet riding to be had and can be done in a day!

Day 6 started to make our way back home and drove thru the Badlands along the way a must see way cool! Rode to Brandon SD and spent the night.

Day 7 rode to Milwaukee and spent two nights at the Iron Horse and partied hard with Patron!!!!

Day 9 rode home!! All in all one for the ages a trip of a life time and one off the bucket list!! Definitely a must ride for the real bikers not the trailer queens!! We rode a total of over 5100 kms door to door!!
