Nope, not the Tail of the Dragon. Rode the Tail of the Gecko. Nice ride (although kinda short) through some old Florida back roads. Gotta be especially careful on the twisties as this is Florida and lots of the corners had sand blown across them. Nice leisurely ride and only saw 1 car and 1 pick-up while on the Tail. Surprisingly no other bikes. It is a nice ride to get there from wherever you're coming from and a nice ride on the Tail. Anybody in West Central Florida interested, here's the link to a website about it. http://www.2uptouring.com/Motorcycle...-Gecko-P2.aspx
One note: The directions say Bunker Hill Road is East of the Fire Station and it is actually west of the Fire Station. The 1st road west of the Fire Station is Bunker Hill Loop. This road connects to the Tail but turns into a gravel road about 1/4 mile in. (Ask me how I know!!) Bunker Hill Road is blacktop as is the rest of the Tail but is a 1/4 to 1/2 mile further west.
At first, I thought you were joking about Florida having "twisties". I thought most were flat and straight. I guess I am spoiled living in/close to NC, TN and Ga mountains.
