Thinking about riding up to the top on my way home from Prince Edward Island. Never been over that way and was wondering if the road is paved all the way to the top.

Last time I went the vey last 1/2 mile or so on top wan't paved. I'll be home in three weeks and plan on taking my kids up, are you planning on leaving before that? My family lives in the area and I can see if anyones been up in a while. I have a couple old school friends that run the food court on top, I'll see if I can get a hold of them on Face B.

We rode up last year. It's not paved all the way to the top. We didn't really notice, visibility was about 50 feet near the top!!

I didn't ride it, but I did drive it. As thick as the cover was at the top, I'm not sure I would want to ride in the conditions we encountered. I wouldn't be worried about my ride, but I would be worried about some of the fools in their cars. I would love to go back on a clear day!

once above the tree line it's gravel...pretty much hard packed but narrow in some spots..
They do have a "forecast board" at the base where you pay

LOL you can always go around the back side and take the train
