Default Georgia to Texas

I had a few days to burn from work so I thought why not got to Dallas Texas to visit my brother and his wife. I left out on a tuesday went to new orleans since I have never been there. After staying there about 45 mins. I figured I had better leave because that's not a place I wanted to be after dark. I rode on to baton rouge for the night after 550 miles. I got up the next morning and finished out my trip just over 500 miles that day. I noticed when I got to Dallas I needed a new rear tire. The Harley shop quoted me a tire for $229 the Honda RIGHT next door was $151 for the excite same tire so thank you maxim Honda. On Friday we left out to San antonio with them on the trailer and got up Saturday and rode to the Alamo and some site seeing and floated the guadaloupa river. We rode a little more sunday before we left for dallas We rode up to Oklahoma one evening to see the wind farms. I left out the next tuesday to come home went through Memphis back to Georgia the whole trip I put 2350 miles on the roadking.

Good job on the ride. I have never really ridden Georgia and never South Carolina.

Sounds like a good time minus the tire incident. Did you take 1-10 out of Baton Rouge? That long bridge ride to Lafayette is just gorgeous. And how on earth did you survive riding in Dallas? That in itself is quite an adventure!

The cold Guadalupe is great when it's 110 degrees outside! I was there a couple weeks ago.
Sounds like an awesome trip. I need to plan a good one soon.
